Description
We are looking for a maintenance fitter for block/paving manufacturing factory, who has mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Site Management team
- Fabrication skills including welding, burning, cutting, and grinding – to a high level.
- Investigate breakdowns, facilitate repairs, carry out RCA to prevent reoccurrence.
- Routine fixed plant maintenance, including working a full plant preventative maintenance schedule.
- Ensuring plant/equipment is maintained to a high level and meets all statutory and company requirements.
- Maintaining an excellent housekeeping regime
- Full compliance with job specific safety requirements
- Actively promote and improve on site health and safety requirements.
- Comply with all Cemex safety, health, and environmental policies.
- Identify Continuous Improvement and work to ensure the site moves forward in standards
- Assist production where needed.
- Implement 5S standards on site.
Skills Required
Skills Required:
- A good working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental practices
- Ability to work and communicate well within an established team.
- Welding, burning and fabrication qualifications.
- Good working Knowledge of processing plant and mobile plant an advantage
- Possess mechanical and practical skills to facilitate on-site repairs to fixed plants.
- Electrical knowledge would be beneficial.
- Forklift counterbalances license an advantage, training will be provided
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic knowledge essential.
