VIADRIVE®  has been designed to provide a durable and aesthetically pleasing surface which resists the effects of power assisted steering and deformation, keeping a high end premium finish on your drive for years to come. Once installed the surface finish requires minimum maintenance due to its specially designed tight interlocking structure.

Available throughout our entire network of plants (including Local Asphalt) in 6mm and 10mm nominal aggregate size, it can also be used as a surface course for residential streets where an enhanced noise reduction is desired. VIADRIVE®contains a blend of carefully selected high quality aggregate, and a harder bitumen grade chosen in order to reduce softening during warmer weather. VIADRIVE® can be installed either via asphalt pavers or by hand. It is recommended that VIADRIVE® installation guide is followed in order to provide the optimum durability. An engineered Stone Mastic Asphalt surface course, specifically designed for driveway and carparking areas. Available in 10mm and 6mm nominal sizes, it resists the stresses typically caused by power assisted steering, and offers a long lasting, durable surface.

Designed with the hand-lay contractor in mind. Using the same premium aggregates and bitumen binder as a standard VIADRIVE, VIADRIVE+ contains an additional additive designed to enhance the workability of the asphalt mix. 

The use of softer binder grades in hand-lay applications is often preferred due to the ease of installation, however the nature of such binders often causes softening of the surface in the warmer months leading to unwanted issues on areas such as driveways and car parks. The use of harder binder grades helps prevent such softening; however, these are typically less workable at equivalent
temperatures.

VIADRIVE+ has been designed to give the same workability as with softer binder grades, whilst acting to reduce the associated softening affects. The enhanced workability provides improved surface finish and helps to reduce waste as it remains workable for a prolonged period when compared with other materials. This extended workability also allows for extended transport times as well as
helping in cooler weather and in the event of unforeseen delays.
