M10 CEMENT BASED LEVELLING/ WEARING SCREEDS
110 BONDED CEMENT:SAND LEVELLING SCREEDS:
CEMEX Readymix - Readyscreed Original
A ready to use, high performance, retarded screeding mortar, it is suitable for all conventional screed applications:
Monolithic - 12 to 15mm thick
Bonded - 25mm minimum, design thickness 40mm
Unbonded construction - 50mm minimum, design thickness 70mm
Floating screed - 65mm minimum, design thickness 90mm for domestic applications
75mm minimum, design thickness 110mm for commercial applications
The surface preparation is similar to traditional floor screeds, requiring a structurally sound surface, free from dust, laitence, dirt and contaminants such as oil and grease. For bonded construction, a bonding coat of cement/water or cement polymer should be brushed onto the base and the screed applied when the bonding coat is wet.

140 PROPRIETARY POLYMER MODIFIED LEVELLING SCREEDS:
CEMEX Readymix - Readyscreed SBR
A ready to use, high performance, retarded screeding mortar designed to give increased toughness, bond and durability than traditional screeds, with a greater resistance to wetting and erosion. It is suitable for all conventional screed applications but can be laid in much reduced thicknesses.
The base surface should be thoroughly prepared by mechanical means - shot blasting, scabbling, bush hammering or similar and should remove all traces of surface material and laitence, together with any weak, friable or contaminated material to expose clean fractured faces of the aggregate. All dust and debris should be removed with an air jet or industrial vacuum cleaner. The base should be thoroughly wetted 24 hours before work commences. A bonding coat of cement / polymer should be brushed onto the base and the screed applied when the bonding coat is wet.

120 PROPRIETARY SELF SMOOTHING LEVELLING SCREEDS:
CEMEX Readymix - Supaflo
A ready to use flowing floor screed based on alpha hemihydrate calcium sulphate. It is designed to be less labour intensive and up to ten times the area may be laid compared to traditional semi-dry screeds. It may also be laid at lesser thicknesses and the likelihood of shrinkage and curling is significantly reduced.
It is suitable for all conventional screed applications:
Unbonded - 30mm minimum thickness
Floating screed - 35mm minimum thickness
Underfloor heated screed - 35mm minimum cover to the heating elements
As the system is laid on a debonding membrane, no cleaning or surface preparation need be carried out on the base surface.
