Two new CEMEX Angling sites opening
CEMEX Angling, part of CEMEX UK the building materials provider, is to open two new sites from 1st September, Chertsey Lake in Surrey and Little Moulsham Lake in Hampshire.
The two sites will be operated on season permit basis with limited membership ensuring a quiet and tranquil environment for the angler.
Chertsey Lake was a sand and gravel quarry and has been restored to create a lake of 12 acres. It has good stocks of specimen sized carp, tench and bream for the keen angler with an excellent number of smaller fish becoming available, ideal for the pleasure-orientated angler. Stocks of silver fish pike and perch are also present in good numbers.
Little Moulsham lake, near to the Yateley complex, has not been open to all anglers for a number of years. The current British record crucian of 4lb 9ozs 9drams came from this lake, and today there are many specimen sizes species within its waters, available for those who put in the effort. The lake offers grass carp of 42lbs+, excellent sized tench and King Carp caught at over 39lbs. It is rumoured that there are much larger fish present in these waters.
Further details of the sites can be found on CEMEX Angling website, www.cemexangling.co.uk and details and all permits should be obtained from the CEMEX Angling office on 01932 583630
