November 05, 2021
CEMEX, S.A.B. de C.V. (“CEMEX”) (NYSE: CX) announced today that one of its subsidiaries has signed a binding agreement to sell four of its ready-mix concrete plants in Scotland, United Kingdom.

The plants, which are being divested to Tillicoultry Quarries and are located in Scotland (Dundee, Greenock, Cardenden and Perth), were identified as part of CEMEX’s portfolio rebalancing strategy to focus on high growth metropolitan markets.
Employees working at these sites will be transferred to the new owners in accordance with TUPE regulations. CEMEX and Tillicoultry Quarries management teams have been working closely to ensure a successful transition.
CEMEX would like to take this opportunity to thank the employees transferring to Tillicoultry Quarries for their commitment to CEMEX.
CEMEX remains committed to the UK market and still retains a substantial integrated business providing a wide range of sustainable building materials solutions for our customers.
