14th March 2012: Last night CEMEX UK, the building materials provider, received an award for its significant work in enhancing the relationship between Mexico and the UK. The award, Mexico-UK International Leader, is being given during Mexico Week in the UK 2012, an event organized on behalf of Mexican and British companies and institutions to promote trade and investment.
Mexico Week is organized by the British Chamber of Commerce in Mexico (BRITCHAM), the Mexican Chamber of Commerce in the UK (MCCUK) and the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology (COMCE). One of the highlights of the week is a gala dinner and award ceremony.
The Mexico-UK International Leader award is for multi-national companies whose world-class operations have consolidated them as leaders in their sector and recognizes the contribution the company has made in strengthening Mexico-UK business relationships.
