Next steps - Site audit / Risk assessment

The first step in the process of the Smart SiloTM installation starts with a site audit / risk assessment to make sure that your business is suitable for this innovative service.

These are the main points that the CEMEX representative will consider in the site audit:

  • Silos are assessed for suitability of retro-fitting Smart SiloTM equipment;
  • Ideally silos would be metal in construction and of stand-alone design;
  • An Isolatable power supply will be required (voltage capacity rating to be determined either 110V or 240V);
  • A suitable mobile signal from our service provider needs to be attained in the local area;
  • Suitable access around the silos to effect a safe working environment to install the equipment will be required (all installers are safety passport accredited);
  • Suitable access for a site survey to be carried out will be required.

If you have any questions about this or anything relating to Smart SiloTM please contact us on 0800 353 433.
