We supply an extensive range of cementitious materials from our consistent and reliable production facilities. Our high performance, high quality product range can be used in a variety of applications and by many diverse end-users.

As part of our commitment to innovation and exceeding required sustainability measures, we also offer a range of Sustainable Cements CEM 3 and CEM 2 to assist clients in meeting increasingly demanding sustainable construction targets.

Cements
CEMEX supplies a range of general purpose and specialist cements backed by excellent logistics capability, supply network and efficient ordering order processing systems. These include CEMEX Portland for most traditional concrete uses; CEMEX Rapid for those applications requiring rapid hardening; CEMEX CEM 3 for improved durability and surface finish; and CEMEX CEM 2 (EXTRA) for improved workability and finish.

Sustainable Cements
Following extensive investment in research and development, CEMEX was one of the first UK suppliers to provide high performance cements with greatly enhanced environmental credentials. CEMEX CEM 3 is a factory-produced cement for which CO2 produced is 45% less than in a tonne of Portland Cement. It also provides enhanced sulphate resistance durability and improved surface finish. CEMEX CEM 2 (EXTRA) provides improved workability and finish together with increased sulphate resistance.

Fly Ash
CEMEX supplies a full range of ash-based products backed by advanced technical support services to meet demanding customer requirements. These range from PFA (Pulverised Fuel Ash) Part 1, EN450, Run of Station Ash, Dry Fine Aggregate to FBA (Furnace Bottom Ash). These materials are used in a variety of applications ranging from cement replacements, fill materials and use as a lightweight aggregate.

GGBS (Ground Granulated Blastfurnace Slag)
CEMEX supplies bulk GGBS which is used in a variety of applications but primarily as a cement replacement.
