Decorative aggregates
Across the UK, we supply a wide selection of decorative aggregates for landscaping, gardening and DIY uses. These materials provide an aesthetically pleasing and cost effective medium for a wide variety of applications.

High PSV aggregates
The supply of high PSV (polished stone value) aggregates is critical to the road construction industry and with three quarries producing such material, CEMEX enjoys an excellent supply position. The sources are Gilfach in South Wales (PSV 69), Roan Edge in Cumbria (PSV 65) and Quartzite in South Gloucestershire (PSV 65).

Limestone
We produce large quantities of limestone for construction and construction product applications.

Marine aggregates
Through our fleet of dredgers, we are able to supply aggregates for a wide variety of construction and construction product applications. Of particular importance is the experience in the supply of materials to significant beach replenishment and land reclamation projects.

Recycled aggregates
Our companies are increasingly involved in the supply of recycled and secondary materials. These vary from china clay waste from Cornwall to crushed glass and construction and demolition waste from many sources. The use of recycled asphalt and road planings is also a growing area of activity.

Rock armour
A number of quarries are able to supply rock armour for sea and river defence, an application which is growing in importance as the need to prevent coastal erosion and flooding increases.

Sand and gravel
With over 85 sand and gravel pits, we are able to supply a complete range of these materials to required specifications throughout the network.
